The latest in a long line (although regarded as something of a scene leader back home) Monzano return to the fray this month - or indeed arrive at the party in the case of the UK - with a new EP "Apple Handsome" which should hopefully see us Brits partaking in the bands loveable indie pop for the first time.
Ive always had a soft spot for this kind of glacial indie and time and again here there are goosebumps to be had. Taking liberal dashes of Built To Spill and Pavement and throwing them up against a rich seam of pure pop provides an excellent off kilter collection of electronically tinted indie pop.
