A sumptuous blend of rootsy americana with a distinctly scandinavian flurry of snow TEAM ME hail from Elverum (no) and deal in a mix of acoustic led music the band evoke the likes of Andrew Bird, The Polyphonic Spree, Anathallo and Sufjan Stevens. That this reads something akin to the most played on my ipod is an excellent thing.
The band recently supported British Sea Power and their delightful scando folk pop won the band a number of high profile supporters (not least British Sea Power themselves!) which should hopefully see them returning to these shores very soon. For now if you like your acoustic music deliciously sweet with plenty of great jumpers then this is the band for you:
